Serpent Dreaming
Serpent Dreaming is perhaps my best known piece. I have painted a number of variations of this 2 metre long painting, each with its unique colour combination and dot configuration. I tailor-make these pieces to suit both personal and corporate settings. My original piece was published in ‘Gatherings: Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Art’ compiled by Marion Demozay. Since then, requests have seen variations of this piece in coffee shops, banks, universities, a small business office, and a lounge room wall! Choose from three colour variations: earth, tropical and rainbow. I can paint on either canvas or board.
Dimensions: 58cm height x 200 cm width
AUD $4600
If you wish to order ‘Serpent Dreaming’ with a specific colour scheme in mind, you can e-mail me and we can discuss options. For tailor-made options, price varies according to the level of detail and the number of hours estimated to complete the piece. Click here to send e-mail.

Triptics
Over the past 3 years I have been painting ‘triptics’. These simple but effective pieces highlight a range of indigenous concepts and themes and each triptic I create comes with its own story. Choose from four triptic designs in either earth (reds, browns, yellows) or tropical (blues, greens and white/creams). These pieces prove very affordable and look great positioned only a few centimeters apart. They are painted on canvas.
Dimensions: 30cm height x 60 cm width
AUD $360

Ochres
Ochre is a natural pigment that has been used by Australian Aboriginals for thousands of years for rock art and body art. Today it is also used for many forms of art including bark paintings and carvings. It comes in four basic colours: Red and Yellow, from Hematite, Ironstone and Limonite. Black, from Manganese Ore & charcoal. White, from Gypsum & Pipelay. These are usually obtained from the artist's local area or through trade. They are then ground to a fine powder with a grinding stone. Traditionally they were then mixed with orchid sap or turtle egg yolk as the binder, however today artists use a p.v.c glue, usually aquadhere as it is far better lasting.
Over the past two years I have formed a collaboration with a local clay works company to produce a series of ochres for painting. I supply these in powdered form so that artists can blend the ochres to the consistency they desire. As well as painting on canvas and paper, these ochres are also ideal for face and body painting.
